tibetan
karma carpets
provides
classic carpet designs in two categories:
100 knots and 80 knots per square inch. The
greater number of knots can produce a proportionately more elaborate design. More information about each category can be found
in the individual showrooms.
Carpet weaving
is an important Tibetan art. It is centuries old
and has evolved in recent years as the primary means of support for Tibetan
people living in exile in Nepal and India. Through the sale of carpets, they are
able to provide for the education of their children and care for their elderly. It
is also an important source of income for the Tibetan
Government in Exile and is used to increase worldwide political awareness of the Tibetan situation.
Every Tibetan Karma
Carpet is crafted to the highest standards possible. Top quality materials are used
in every step of the production process. Visit
