Through our factory, tkc
is in
exclusive contract with the Tibetan Settlement Government in Exile of His
Holiness the Dalai Lama. Our rugs are woven with the utmost care and attention to detail at the
oldest Tibetan settlement camp in Katmandu, Nepal. Any
revenue which does not remain in the
settlement camp to support the immediate needs of the population is
channeled directly to the Tibetan Settlement Government in Exile to promote
the Dalai Lama’s agenda of world peace. We are a globally-conscious
company, and our goal is to provide the public with a world-class product at
a fair trade price.

100,
120 and 150 knot rugs
are woven from 100% Tibetan Highland Sheep wool.
They may also, if specified, include a portion of the design woven in silk or be woven
in 100% silk.

knot rugs are
a 50/50 blend of Tibetan and New Zealand wool.

Dyes
are of
either natural vegetable or the best quality, environmentally friendly
Swiss dyes to provide a broad palette of over 175 colors.

Sizes
are
mostly standard with a slight variation in the length of some designs to
preserve their artistic integrity. Custom sizes are available at no
additional charge, but are limited in some design aspects.

Custom
coloring is
available. Charges will vary according to the details of the specific
project.

We accept all major credit cards, or you may pay by check or money order if you
prefer.

Production
time for your
carpet is in 12 to16 weeks. Carpets are woven per individual order and are not
kept in stock.

Shipping
is accomplished
either by Fedex Ground or UPS ground, depending
upon your location. Carpets are securely packaged to virtually eliminate the possibility
of damage during shipping.
